Mighty West Ham 1 Man U 2 Went to this one. I hate to say but we were well and truly beaten by Mr Rooney and his mates. Unbelievable start when we scored after 56 seconds!; Ethrington flying down the left wing, cutting the ball into the box and there was Marleene to stick it away. Ground went absolutely ballistic. After that, they just got better and better and Carroll had to pull off a number of sharp saves. Lucky to go in at halftime at 0-0. Second half started and they quickly equalised through Rooney and then got the winner shortly after when Rooney flung in a corner with O'Shea rising above Carroll to nod home. They could have had a third when Van Nistelrooy hit the bar after chipping Carroll. I thought the backline played well (even Repka) but the midfield got overrun and the forward line was non-existent. In fact when the Announcer gave the attendance at 34,554 one wag shouted out it would have been 555 if Marleene had turned up! Rooney really is a fantastic player, all over the place; one minute making a chance and then back on his six yard box making a clearence. Hope he stays fit for the World Cup because he really does make a difference. All in all, we had a go but looked a bit out of our depth but with such a young team (obviously that doesn't include young Teddy) we should improve. Hot off the press: Reo Coker out for six weeks with broken foot; two page spread in the News of the World by Young Teddy giving lots of reasons why Keane should join the Happy Hammers (apparently Keane stated that at 34 he is to young to join and may wait until he is at least 40!; and he'd still be better that Repka!). Anyway, tell Paul Spurs had an unexciting 2-1 win at Wigan. Take care buddy boy.

Excellent pictures of Sydney, they are the ones that make you want to be there!! and are the ones I remember.(mum has just gone to work and had to scrape the car. News of heavy snow in Cumbria)
Luckily I only fell asleep twice looking at the Zoo pictures, we probably wouldn't have minded if you had left them out.
Interesting picture of Paul "topping and tailing" that's what they call that now is it?
Mum says can she have the post office address of where you are staying near Bondi as she wants to post your Christmas present soon. No need to rent a wharehouse to store it as it is a "present" singular.
Hope work is going well..........
Take care
Dad
PS Ipswich are only about 7 points above the relegation zone!!!! Good old Joe

Although we didn't win, this is almost as good as one with an equaliser by Anton Ferdinand deep into injury time; you have to laugh!! Classic headline in the Sun said it all; "Ant 'n Decked"! With Defore (shame!) left on the bench, Spurs started off brightly, winning the early exchanges and scoring a silly goal through Mido after Dawson pumped a long ball forward in between Ferdinand and (you've guessed it) Repka: Hislop in goal, came, stopped and watched as Mido looped his header over the top of him and into the net. They almost then had second through Keane but Hislop pulled off a good save. The boys then stared to get more and more into the game with 18yr old Noble giving 145yr old Edgar Davids the runaround and Haydon Mullins (Sun's man of the match) pulling the strings in midfield. Young Teddy then almost got an equaliser but Robinson pulled off a world class save. Then, when it looked like it was all over, up popped Ferdinand with his late late goal. Corner in, everybody missed it (Spurs goalie and defenders all crashed into one another) and there was Ferdinand to nod in. Absolutely hilarious! He then went and spoilt it by performing this silly dance that can only be described as sheer buffoonery! 1-1 probably fair result though. Hot off the press: two points of note in yesterday's News of the World; i) Paulo Wanchope could be on his way back to the Mighty Irons. Believe it or not, he is still only 29 (bit young for us don't you think?!) and ii) we might also be on the verge of signing Ipswich youngster Westlake (your Dad will be pleased!). Going to the Man U. game his Sunday so for the second time this season I will be donning the lucky Bobby Moore t-shirt; it will be good to feel it against my skin again; Viva Bobby Moore! Take care buddy boy.

How does he do it? Once again, Young Teddy pops up and nets the winner for the mighty Claret and Blue. 212 years old and still going strong! Actually lasted the full 90 minutes although they had to change the tyres on his wheelchair after the game as the tread was below the legal limit. Apparently we had NINE clear chances in the first half with Marleene missing a couple (given a 5 rating in the Sun; "way off the pace") and a some goaline clearences made. Eventually up stepped Young Teddy in the 57th minute to prod home a Repka cross (I repeat a REPKA cross)! WBA had a few chances afterwards but we held firm to post another three points on the scoreboard. Still 9th in the table. We play Spurs next at White Flag Lane. Spurs due to play tonight at Bolton but will probably be an unexciting game. Its live on Sky but I noticed Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii is on one of the Indian channels so I'll probably watch that! Liked your pictures of the Lady-boys; don't bring one home, your mum and dad would be distraught!! Take care buddy boy.

Gday Ad man. Hows it hanging. We have had so much fun reading up on how west ham are doing. thank god for uncle pete. Been looking at your pictures aswell and neither of you are photogenic. (CHUBBY) & (SLIM).
No gossip from sad old kendal as usual but terry and dawn enjoyed there HUGH LAMB ROAST DINNER. jammy gets!! didnt offer me & george any either, as you can imagine terrys plate was over filled and he ate it all while we sat and watched. George has grown up loads in the last six months you wont believe him when you see him. he's at pre school every morning with thomas as you can imagine they rule the roost think we might have trouble ahead. jess is off to the dominican republic for 2 weeks on her birthday she has decided to sack the parents and divorce them. She won the court case last week. Ellie looks like the golly wog off the jam jar. BLESS. Just to replace uncle pete but man utd are losing 1-0 to lille. woops. terry is thinking of ordering a sizzle in take away you know me ad i will have to leave as food is definitely the priority. love to you and take care.

Another poor away performance and lucky to get away with only letting in 2 goals. Shaka Hislop (nearly as old as Young teddy) pulled off a couple of good saves. Although we look fairly decent at the back (other than Repka: absolute buffoon) and in midfield, we don't carry any real threat upfront and don't look convinced they can score. Shame really as a couple of weeks back we were really going for it and always look likely to score a few. Never mind, still comfortable mid-table and if we can beat WBA this weekend will be well on our way to that magic 42 points number, ie safety, although I think we went down on that number last time so maybe need 43)! Tell Paul, Spurs had an unexciting 1all draw with the Arse. Take care buddy boy.

Thanks for reminding me of the Ingatestone Carnivals, but which time do you mean?? The time I had a green cross on my t-shirt, or when i was half of the mountnessing windmill!! ha ha.
