hi adam hope you are ok thought i had better leave you a message as i have'nt for a while.uncle peter is a bit "stressed" out at work at the moment so that's maybe why he has'nt written a report for a while or maybe west ham are not doing to well not sure which one is right!.peter and helen have taken hannah and joel to spain for a week so you won't hear from him this week either. maybe you can watch the match in perth.i still haven't got my new car thought i was going to get it on thursday but my insurance didn't come thru so have to wait untill monday now ,never mind the weather' s not to good so i couldn't have the roof down anyway!!! we are going up to see dave and carol in leeds today,staying over and then down to nottingham tomorro as dad has got a meeting, i will just have to go shopping while i wait for him .your time in australia seems to be going really quick now so make the most of it,i'm sure you will. speak to you soon look after yourself love mum

Cheers Dad, I thought you might have something to say about me updating my postcards, I update them almost as often as people leave me messages!!! Even Uncle Peter has stopped giving me mighty west ham reports! For all i know we might have made it to the Semi finals of the F.A. cup or something!!! With the suit, I think you had better get me a fat bloke size, sitting around in the sun all day doesnt exactly keep you nice and slim (like i was when i left!). It's not long now till my visa runs out, it was 9 weeks on wednesday and the time is flying!!! Anyway, i will SEE you soon! Take care.

Wigan 1 Mighty West Ham 2 - Me, your Dad and Northern John went to this one. Northern John was very quiet blaming it on a hangover from the night before but I reckon he was in awe of seeing the mighty Claret and Blue in action! Well another win booked; didn't play particulary well but probably a bit of a hangover (different type to John's) from our win over City in the cup earlier in the week. They had most of the first half with a couple of chances and then just before half time, out of nowhere, McCulloch unleashed a 25 yarder into the net with Shaka rooted to the spot. I actually wasn't to disappointed to see them score as I always think we play better when we are behind. And lo and behold, straight after the kick off, Marleene equalised from a mix up in the Wigan defence. Your dad liked this one as Marleene happened to be walking past when the cock-up occured and thought hello, if I run and I might get myself a goal here! They had most of the play after but were restricted to long range shots that Shaka plucked out of the air with the greatest of ease! Then, in the very last seconds (literally) Young Terry on for Ashton, put the ball out wide to Marleene who knocked the ball into the six yard area for (altogether now) do,do,do Nigel Reo-Coker to slot home. They had time to kick off and then the whistle went; bloody marvellous! As we walked out the ground the boys were singing do,do,do Nigel Reo-Coker and I'm sure I saw your dad join in. Northern John just remained silent, still mesmerised by the boys from the East End! Added bonus: had a couple of quid on Wigan at half time and WHU at full at 28s and a pand on WHU to win 2-1 at 10s so picked up a nice little 66 pand. I think your dad had a little tickle to. Northern John just gave me all his money and thanked me for helping him to open his eyes, see the light and follow the Mighty Claret and Blue over land and sea! In fact he was so impressed, I believe he is going to watch them again at Man U tonight! Can't go to the Semi's as I go on holiday that weekend; however we have only got 20,000 tickets so these will be all snapped up by the season ticket holders. Could be the same for the final so don't rush back! Hot off the press: Keely, 19 from Bromley is on Page 3 today, topless wearing a pair of pink drawers (not sure where from but could be M&S). Anyway, she stated that there is NO truth in the rumours that Joey Cole was beaten up because he tried to chat her up; apparently he had fallen asleep when he was attacked and said "it was a case of falling asleep in the wrong place" (probably fell asleep in her bed!); very strange! Dont fancy the train journey to Cardiff again though! Its funny cause reciently i have had two 20+ hour train journeys and they were a hundred times better than that one in May from Cardiff!
