The Louvre- Mr. Steve's was at work again. Passing the Nike statute, we headed to the French and Italian artists wing and saw the Da Vinci's and Giotto exhibits.The Mona Lisa was in it's own room and was packed full of people trying to take photos of this famous picture encases in glass. I squeezed to the front and got a few shots and then squeezed out.Tim asked if there was anything that I wanted to see while there and I sated that I wanted to see some Michelangelo statutes if possible. His reply in hind sight is comical, "there are none here," he stated as he flipped through the Steve's book. As we prepared to leave the Louvre, we went downstairs, directly underneath the painting wing and ended up in the Roman statue area.Here we found multiple Michelangelo statues all amazing in their details.
