Eifel Tower-What can I say about the Eifel? It was tall and was loaded with people and vendors. We took the classic shots and decided to head on to Napoleons tomb and then to the Louvre. As we passed by the Eifel Tower, we were entertained with local illegal merchants being chased by the French police, batons swinging during the chase.After a long fast paced walk, we arrived at the Louvre. That is right, for some reason we bypassed the tomb seeing it behind us from a distance as we approached the Louvre. During the walk we bought some pastries from a street vendor, here chatted with 2 French Army officers who were in communications school at the nearby military academy. They were pretty nice guys and I felt a lot of camaraderie and respect as we discussed their service and my past service.
