Well I definitely wish I could say that our travel from Phoenix to Louisville was uneventful but it was. About 1 hour from our arrival we encountered turbulence as we have never experienced. The plane violently shook from side to side and Pat thought the plane would just shake apart.
Pat was not happy with our rental car saying it is way too small. It is a Chevy Cobalt. I think it drives fine and will certainly get good gas mileage...
We had received a note from our timeshare saying that the office was only open until 6 p.m. so we really hurried and were thrilled when we pulled into the parking lot a 5:50 only to find out that at the location of the timeshare it is on Central time and it was only 4:40. Apparently parts of Kentucky are on Eastern Time and other parts are on central time. That will take some getting used to. We have decided that we are going to always use Eastern Time on this trip.
Our time share was fine. Two bedrooms and two baths. We asked directions to the nearest grocery store and did our weekly shopping. We discovered that we do not have cell service in the timeshare but did have it five miles away at the store. After shopping we called Jennifer and caught up on news from home.
We had dinner, watched O'Reilly and headed to bed rather early.
