So iv been in the outback for three weeks now. Im absolutely loving it. Spent a few days with Sam helping out at her station, we rescued quite a few sheep that got stuck in a muddy dam on their station. One of the lambs we rescued decided that I would be it's new mummy and kept following me around, so we took him home, i named him Bambina and he's doing really well. Although he's staying at Sam's.
We mustered some sheep last week on horseback, that was awesome. Iv done quite a bit of riding and I'm hopefully entering one of the horses into the gymkhana at the rodeo in October. Eeekkkk!!!
Spent a few days at the kids Pops house, he's got about 50 horses there. We brought two back with us. Had a lovely time around the fire in the evenings and I toasted marshmallows for the first time, although it ended up dropping on my trousers.
The weather is getting a bit warmer now, but it can get below freezing at night. Which is good as the snakes are hibernating.
