The time has come for my next adventure..
I arrived in Sydney in the afternoon, a bit colder than I expected. Went for a drink with Sean, who I met in Cambodia. Was awesome to catch up, then I caught the tube over to Bondi Beach to see Scott, one of the first people I met when I first came travelling. If I decide to move to Sydney after my regional, which I am hoping to do, he will get me a job in the bar which he manages.
It was getting late by the time I left but I really wanted to make the most of my night in Sydney, so I jumped back on the tube and headed to Sydney Opera House. It was absolutely beautiful, but seemed so much smaller than in pictures. The Sydney bridge looked amazing and all the city was lit up with the lights. I grabbed some calamari and chips and sat on a bench near the Opera House and chilled for a while. Such a shame my train is at 7am in the morning as I would have loved to have explored more. But hopefully I'll get a chance when I leave the outback.
