So it's about 5:30 am here in Mountain Time. We arrived in Boulder at a bit of an awkward time and now sit in the van until it's an acceptable time of day to wake Danielle's friend that were crashing with while in CO. We're parked right outside of his apartment like absolute creepers, but what were we to do? Also, Christine is giving herself a foot tour of the neighborhood as if we needed to add suspicion to the mysterious mini van parked on the street. Super excited for daylight so that we can start exploring Denver and Boulder an wherever else.
The trip here, now that we're here, was pretty simple. If you weren't driving you were navigating, if you weren't navigating you were curled up in the cozy nest in the back bumping to the bass and trying to sleep (which Danielle had no problem with). We basically each drove 4ish hour shifts at a time until the tank of gas emptied and we stopped to pee, fill up, and rotate drivers. The cities we passed flew by and the dreaded 10 ish hours across Kansas were just as boring as we expected. Christine even got to enjoy a full hour of not one single radio station.
Thanks to Christine, we did find and stop at this badass Native American store (hence the photo) in Illinois. We both bought blankets, and most likely could have spent way more time and money there had the trip allowed and the prices not been so high. . .
And Danielle's friend just woke up so here starts our official Colorado adventure!

Patty Nice. Thanks. What was the name of the store where you bought blankets? Do they have an online ordering capacity?
