We had such a fabulous day today and can see why cruises are a favorite trip of so many. James and I went rock wall climbing today for the first time. I got as far as an arm length from ringing the bell, while Showoff made it right to the top and rang the bell (once they found a big enough helmet for his head -haha). Another of the many "shopping extravaganzas" onboard today where everything was 10 dollars and so James (or Jam-ez as we have taken to calling him) got a new sports watch and I bought one of those huge wide brimmed hats that I always see women wearing at exotic beaches - I plan on wearing it at all the ports - a. Because I love this huge floppy hat and b. Holly hates it :) and i guess c. would be no one could burn with this hat on. We played mini golf up on the upper windy deck by the inline skating track. We had a great time and Brooke and Cooper did quite well, while I did not. Holly attended another craft class with "the old people" (her words) where she made a decoupage plate out of napkins, which she says the craft instructor collects as a hobby. Unfortunately, James declined to take part in the "World's Sexiest Man" contest, but Holly had a blast watching the contest especially the part where the judges got to slap the mens bums - she informed us that most of the men were fat and the winner of the contest turned out to be married to one of the judges.... leaving us to wonder if James declined because he had a notion that it was rigged or he didn't want his bum slapped in public :). Brooke continues to be obsessed with kids club and they went to Johnny Rockets for supper again. James, Holly, Cooper and I went there as well and enjoyed our dinner out on the deck while the sun went down - a spectacular sunset. Our waiter is from Siberia and he was awesome. James and I sang "Loveshack" loudly along with the table behind us while our waiter and the other waiters did their dance to the song - it was so much fun seeing how much we mortified Holly :). After supper, we made our way to the Helipad, which was in full dark, and we were able to stargaze - amazing, amazing, amazing.... the moon was gorgeous and the stars were many and so bright. A favorite night, especially coming back to our nice clean room ( cleaned twice a day) with newly folded towel animals for the kids....
