Holly and I, it turns out, get terrible seasickness.... We spent last night and this morning green around the gills. Luckily, I brought a big bottle of gravol with us and we were able to curb the distress of our stomachs, however we are like zombies because it is the drowsy gravol. I attended the yoga class this morning and we were all losing our balance due to the rough seas. I broke out in a cold sweat and almost redecorated the floor halfway through the class, but I persevered and did the worst up and down dogs ever. I am not cut out for yoga on a ship it seems. I stumbled up a level to meet the girls at the spa for their appointments. Brooke loved her cupcake manicure and has lovely hot pink nails and Holly really enjoyed her facial. Holly and I crashed for the rest of the morning and Brooke and Cooper enjoyed the kids club program. I gathered up my zombie self for my own spa apppointment, only to find out that I could not have the algae treatment as I have a shellfish allergy (which is one of the two contraindications to the treatment). Very disappointed (but slightly relieved as I had not realized there were electrodes with which to shock me with during this treatment) I stumbled back to bed to sleep some more. We went for lunch at Johnny Rockets on Deck 12 - lots of fun watching the staff greet us and others and do their dance (for some reason i was the only one in our family who knew this would happen because i saw the Johnny Rockets episode of Undercover Boss). James watched the tv channel where it loops about the ship and its workings - and for those who know James well, you know he loves stuff like that and so he would say he had a great day today. I am still trying to twist his arm into taking the napkin folding artistry classes here. The room attendants had twisted cute animals out of the towels on our beds for us while we were out at dinner - I must mention that our main room atttendant, Denmark, is outstanding. We bypassed the line up of people attending the formal dinner in the dining room and went for a spectacular stir fry bar - so delicious. The fancy dresses I had brought for Holly and I would not have gotten us into the formal dinner, even if James had brought a shirt and tie. The crowd looked like they were attending the Oscars - glitzy diamonds, tuxedos, and high end gowns... I was taken aback at just how dressy these cruise affairs can be - but we really aren't into that at all.... at least at this point in our lives. I am extremely pleased with every aspect of this cruise so far.

Leslie St Maarten - that's where the show Temptation island I think was taped - what a beautiful place. I'd love to go there one day. Still pulling for the napkin folding class!
