Today we moved on to Phuket so had a bus journey ahead of us, the bent lad said he would take us to the top of the road (about a mile away) to get the bus on the provision that first we had breakfast. We had bacon and egg's on toast which I really enjoyed, I went for a poo. When I was gone the bent lad came over to Sarah and said 'are you ready? Where is your friend?' friend? Of course Sarah didn't correct him and found this funny, I came back and a different Thai bloke who was at the bar smoking ganja had his truck keys in hand, we grabbed our bags and as we were going out of the bar the bent lad shouted to me 'miss you', I said 'bye now' and we went. The bus ran every half an hour from the top of the road and there were about ten-fifteen other people already waiting, about an hour and a half later naturally the bus turned up. It was Juan Sergio-Ramos and there were already people standing in the aisle, we sneaked on and a very kind Thai bloke stood up and let us have the seats, we looked outside and only about four people managed to get on the bus as most of them were dicking around putting there bags under the bus where as we squashed ours where our feet should be. We then did something a little unplanned, the ticket man came round and asked where we were going and instead of saying Phuket I said Khao Lak please, we did not know where this was nor what was there but it seemed exciting, there were a few other people that were going there and two other English travellers confirmed it was rate good. The bus arrived at a destination and we got off. We then got back on as we had got off about 40 Km to early. The English lad lent us his travel book and we read a bit about it, I seemed nice. We arrived (really we did this time) and we headed up the main drag to a hotel the other travellers had recommended (they had already stayed there). We went into Banana Bungalow's but they were expensive, we then tried a place called Yuppadee Fish it was a restaurant with rooms out the back for rent, it was clean and the rooms looked new and had a massive window with mosquito guard over it, not bad for 400 Baht per night. We took the room and went to explore, we found the beach and it was nice, the sand was deep (I don't like that) and the sea was clear, there were little crabs digging holes, we settled down and frequently had a dip in the sea . It was honestly like a bath, I have never felt sea like it I had to check with Sarah to make sure she hadn't had a wee in there. She had... I mean hadn't. We ran out of water and I went on a quest to find some, there was a little bar up the beach. I burnt my feet on the sand, it was very very hot and I ran like a moron doing a silly dance when my feet hit the shade, I was dripping in sweat literally it was pouring off me and my face was red, a young gentleman came out and I said 'a big bottle of water please' 'we no have big just small' 'o.k a small one will be fine' '65 Baht' (that's about one pound thirty, in every restaurant and bar we had been to small waters were 10 Baht),'65 Baht? For how many bottles?' 'one' he replied, I don't like being rude but he had clearly made that price up because I was on my arse, half dehydrated 'on your bike, I don't want it I'd rather die than pay that' I ran back across the sand and did a silly dance in the sea this time. Sarah seemed baffled when I returned empty handed. We packed up on the beach about 30 minute later and headed for water. Then we had a shower and went for beer a glorious cold beer and went on WiFi and our little lovely god daughter Niamh was available on Skype and we saw her for the first time she was now three days old, she didn't say much. Then we went for a look for a bar, we struggled to find one but did find a restaurant that did beers on buy one get one free (you can't beat a BOGOF as my Nan would say), we then found a sort of bar which had just opened and they did cheap beers. I said 'is the business going well then? As you have only just started' he replied 'no' well that killed that conversation, he very kindly did give us a map of the beach and told us all the good places to go. Tea time was upon us, and a marvellous one it was too, pot-noodle and a sandwich. Tiggerific it was too. Of course this then made us drop to sleep as we had to eat it in the room.

Sarah Misssssss youuuuuuuuuuu!!!! hahahahahaha how i laughed! You didnt find it so funny?! I loved Yupadee Fish and Khao Lak (maybe because it wasnt planned in Noah!) and we had loads of fun running into the sea because there was a big drop from sand to sea so we could do a massive jump!
