Well today we headed off to Paignton to spend some time with Mum and Bill.

So after a farewell breakfast with Jen and Pete, we punched in our co-ordinates to the sat nav system and headed off.
2 hours later we were still stuck in the middle of London ... stupid sat nav system BUT ... it was also our fault ... we knew that we should have avoided London but we took the computers plotted course over our own common sense!!

5 and a half hours later we arrived in Paignton to a very warm welcome from Mum and Bill

After unpacking and catching up on everything that has changed with the house since we were last here, richie and I headed down to the high street to buy bacon and of course CLOTTED CREAM !!!
I must confess, I've been eagerly anticipating the first devonshire tea with proper clotted cream ... If you've tried proper clotted cream, you know what I mean .. if you haven't then unless you try genuine West Country clotted cream, you're still waiting to live. ITS AWESOME and I'll definitely be filling up on it over the next few days.

Well thats about it for the day ... mum already has me doing cross stich and richie has been entertained by Bill this evening.

Tomorrow we are doing a day trip to Eden ... a horticultural project that has been a huge success with lots of documentaries produced about it.
