So where still in Bush Bay and loving it! It's close to Carnarvon, has a nice beach to explore and lots of people to chat too (and admire there set ups)!
So far the people we've met are staying here 1 night, 2 weeks, month, 10 weeks, Perths winter, up to no check out date at all! One guy is so set up he has a few whale bones decoratively hung up outside his home!
The water disappears everyday leaving lots to check out! Heaps of shells (some are home to crazy crabs)! and seaweed, we've seen two turtles happily sunbaking waiting for the water to come back :) saw a sting ray that was beached as, the odd crab shell laying around and even a sea snake!
Also we've been seeing lots of emus up close, just wandering through checking things out!
Weve been in and checked out Carnarvon and they have a Woolworths...oh how I've missed thee!!!! It's great to be able to buy your cheap brands off food and then get a fuel discount at the end!!!!!! :)
We went and saw the banana plantations and just had to get a frozen chocolate coated banana! Yum! Bought some bananas... now wondering how to chocolate coat them in our tent kitchen! :)
Stopped and checked out one mile jetty... Yes looks about a mile! Not game to do it though! Might get blown over the edge, or fall through a crack! And the winds have been up at 2000km/hr, therefore just happy looking from the shore! :)
The weathers amazing up here, nice and warm, so our winter clothes have gone to the back of the draws!
Did another load of washing, we put it all in a bucket and drove around town with it, then hung it out when we got back... Yes hippies I know haha! What's worse is we are always water conscious, so after all three of us have used the same bath water (bathing every 3 days) that same water is what washes our clothes! haha Grossss! But every litre counts!
Also have been using a hand towel as a towel, really good because it drys so quickly! I get nothing but complaints from Daniel though! I guess his only creature comfort is a big fluffy bath towel! Oh well I gave up running water!
But loving every minute of this trip so worth it!
