Let's start with a massive big happy Fathers Day!!!!!! To both our Dads! and a happy Grandads day to our Grandads/Grandpas/Grandpa Poppy/Opa!!! And all other fathers celebrating today!
Xander spoilt Daniel this morning with an Akubra hat full of chocolates, now Dan is a real deal Crocodile Dundee!!!...now he's going to want a crocodile tooth...
We are on the move again, up to Waroora Station. After travelling 150kms on sand through Quobba to Gnaraloo and back again!
Blowholes are A-mazing! Shooting water up to 80m high!
Red Bluff was also amazing, the beach is post card perfect!
And 3 mile at Gnaraloo was also postcard perfect!
Lots of surfers at Red Bluff and 3 mile! And where finally seeing heaps of camper trailers haha
We stayed at Quobba Blowholes campgrounds and thought that we might have to pay for camping (which would mean we've paid to camp twice in 2 weeks) BUT the ranger had just quit!!!! Score! Another free camping spot! ...free camping hippies!
It was a bit hard to find a spot overlooking the ocean because it was so full but we managed it, I wasn't in love with the spot because it was soft sand that went Everrrywhere! In the tent, car, dinner and even brushing your teeth! :/ but the view is absolutely spectacular and made up for it!!!!!
Oh and just putting it out there (my statistics might not be 100% correct, but as we all know 94% of all statistics lie and 63% are made up on the spot) BUT I believe that 75% of Grey Nomads- in caravans, need a good swift kick up the *** they are so grumpy and have no patience! And if you are not part of their click, you get shunned to one side, no matter who you are!
But in saying this, the other 25% of Grey Nomads in caravans, are the most amazing people ever!!! They are friendly and genuinely nice people that would go out of their way for you! So the next Grey Nomad who is a bully to us or any of our 25% friends - Watch Out!!!!! :)
Another thing on my mind, and has been this whole trip, as we've passed 100's of them... is the Cattle Grids! As Dans told me a million times they work, I still can't understand why????
If I was a cow...(no need for any sly comments haha) and there was greener pastures in the next paddock, you can bet my lifes mission would be to cross that grid!!! ie dragging a plank (with my mouth) and laying it on the grid and then crossing OR getting all my cow friends together and we fill in the grid with sand OR Hitch a drag ride on the back of a ute OR learn to high jump (nursery rhyme the cow jumps over the moon) and that's just a few ideas!!!!!!!
I wonder whether any brave cattle has crossed this grid and if so or at least died trying, I think they deserve a memorial next to the grid signs or a mention in cattle history books!

Richo (Of the Brad variety) Nat, I think you may have gone holiday mad! Loving the updates and was good to talk to you guys this morning. A bit jealous of your whole trip, but I'm pretty sure I have caught more fish than you in the last month and that makes me feel a little bit better. Keep the dream alive.
