We left the sandy beaches of shark bay today. Found reception at overlander roadhouse and made the best use of it by calling home and nat had a chance to stalk on Facebook.
We had planned to go to Gladstone for a while but we went there and although a nice place it is $5.50 per person per night. So we continued north to bush bay and new beach just south of canarvon.
We found new beach to be very isolated while people at bushbay have setup up here for years literally!! One guy has a permanent caravan on the beach with whale bones. Some of the caravans here are so old they don't even have tyres!! There is about 100 caravans from new beach to bush bay (6km)
It is really nice here at bush bay plenty of whiting to be caught crabs to scoop and lots of wind!!
This will be our home for the next couple of days and we will do day trips into canarvon to see what it has to offer.
We have all showered today so that should last a few days!
Canarvon should also have reception so nat is really excited!!
We passed the 26th parallel sign today and have reached the second half of the map (top half of wa).
