After a week my first day off so I have organised a driver for the day and head out to a amusement park called Dunia Fantasi or Dufan to the locals. I headed out at 10am missing the morning traffic and also allowing me to have a big breaky. The car trip out took just over one hour. This park is like Universal studios with heaps of rides. As it was in Rhamadan the park was very quiet and I was able to walk straight on to all but two rides, Ice Age a indoor ride had the longest line and took 15-20 minutes to make it to the front but I saw that it was able to have large queues with waits of more than 1.5 hours, the only other ride I had a wait was the rollacoaster which was only 5 minutes. It was again a very humid day and I timed my water rides (ones where I ended up soaked) so I was able to cool once soaked then dry off before half an hour later head for the other ride. The park was great fun and some of the rides were very scary but I thought as it was probably my only time there I might as well. I was so determined to try all the rides I wanted to I was half an hour later to start the trip back to the hotel than I planned and thus I hit the start of the busy traffic period and it took just over two hours to get back. The driver for the day (yes he waited in the carpark as I enjoyed the rides) cost $55 for the 6 hours quiet reasonable I thought.
Once returning to the hotel I headed over to Grand Indonessia and tried a different eatery.
I had an early night as a long day planned tomorrow.
