Hi all!

So its taken me a while to be bothered to write this blog, and now i am just writing it coz im procrastinating to avoid doing study. Bali was so much fun, even though mum and i were only there for a weekend. We packed so much into 2 days.. went shopping, had pedicures, massages, went bar hopping, went swimming, went out to dinner, walked for MILES on the beach and around the markets.

However, the highlight was definitely on our last arvo when we stopped on the beach after walking around for hours. We saw this balinese guy sitting with an esky full of drinks under a tree on the edge of the beach and thought it would be fun to join him haha. Apart from being hounded by the locals to buy things.. like seriously.. one guy asked me to buy a statue of a dog. I wonder how many he sells in a day? But it was cool, coz it reminded me of when I went to Bali when i was younger and how Bali used to be.. chaotic, yet completely relaxing. So, we chatted with the guy for a while, awesome dude, and had a few bintangs with him.. which surprisingly for beer, were really nice!

One of the things I have learnt from Bali is that white is the new tan. Im serious.. I was getting compliments left right and centre for being as pale as a ghost. So now im making less of an effort to get a tan/skin cancer.. Hmm, all in all.. I have decided that I really want to go back to Bali again soon.. its so friendly and cultural and CHEAP AS CHIPS. Especially compared to Singapore.. which is swiftly draining my bank account.
