Today is our last day in British Columbia. Sniff sniff. To make sure that we've seen plenty of mountains, rivers, huge bits of countryside and trees June and Mike took us north through Squamish to various beauty spots. The photo is from the river leading into Brandywine Falls. There was still a good bit of snow around, and some rather hairy "Oh noes I'm up to my knees" moments, but it was all very pretty.
We also went to the "Eagle Run" at Brackendale, but the eagles only nest there in the winter months so while it was impressive (and there were some handy interpretation boards about) the only birds we really saw were turkey vultures, ravens and teeny ones that fly too fast for identification.
So yes. I think my camera's memory card is sufficiently filled up with scenery (I can't wait to get home to my beefy PC with Photoshop so I can edit them properly), and I'm looking forward to moving on to Toronto tomorrow. Although I'm not looking forward to getting up at 4am... Still, that'll be our last early morning for quite a while :)
