Hi all, sorry it's taken me a whole week to write my first post!! Internet has been dodgy (excuses already) so haven't really had the chance!
Well I arrived in les deux alpes late last Friday and boarded the coach with most of the other reps - they're all a good bunch and a good laugh although I think I'm only 1 of 2 people that has never done a season (summer or winter) for neilson so they're all very familiar with each other. When I arrived in resort, the mountains were completely bare (I'll try to upload photos later) but luckily it dumped it down a few days later and now it's covered!

It's been a long week of training every day so hasn't been all fun and games yet as I discover the various aspects of the role but it has been pretty relaxed. I managed to get out on the mountain yesterday in White out blizzard conditions but was good to be out of a training room - my legs ache now!! I'm sure I'll manage to find the time to get used to it again once I'm in my resort!

So where am I based? Well I've just found out I'll be based in La Rosiere for the season - a resort just north of Les Arcs. I'd describe it as a relatively small and cosy resort although I don't actually get there for a few days where I'll explore it properly. I understand it to be really good for beginners and intermediates with plenty of blue and red runs and it links over with the Italian resort of La Thuile - all accessible on the same lift pass. I'll be the only rep in resort but we do run a couple of chalets in resort so there'll be some chalet hosts working there too who I've yet to meet. That's pretty much it for now as I don't want to go on for too long!
