Colleen & Tom's Explorations
This morning was soooooo long!! We slept in, had a leisurely breakfast and then packed ourselves up. Tom went to the camera shop around the corner and found that they usually like 4 hours to transfer photos to a CD, but they said it would be done by 1pm, and it was!!! We checked out at noon and moved our luggage to the foyer, where we waited until 1pm - then our doorman got us a cab that took us to the wharf.
We were there just before 1.30pm and it was already crowded. We took our hand luggage to our stateroom and then went to have lunch (from the Italian section of the Kings Court).
After lunch we explored and then went upstairs for the Sail Away, and watched as we sailed out of New York Harbour. The conditions were very foggy (as it had been the last time we sailed out of New York) - visibility was poor. There seemed to be hardly any clearance as we went under the Narrows Bridge.
Our dinner table is very good - our restaurant is 3 floors tall and we are on the top floor over by a window. The food is as divine as ever, and there was a bottle of Cremant Dom Vincent Rare Grand Brut #1 in our stateroom.
