We really took it easy today. Our biggest chores were menu choices. We had a leisurely Sunday breakfast up at the long pavilion and then made our way into town to buy a Sunday paper, then we returned to relax and read in our pavilion. We went out at about 1pm, having decided to have lunch at One Tree Hill - lunch being an assortment of dips with crudités and Turkish bread, washed down with a glass of bubbly. Wow! What an iconic day this has been. Up early for breakfast, as we had to be back in reception at 8.15am. Breakfast was again this wonderful grilled asparagus dish with salmon caviar, ruby grapefruit and hollandaise sauce that I discovered yesterday, but this time with a side of smoked salmon - perfect!! This morning we drove up to the Long Pavilion in our buggy for breakfast. I had the most wonderful grilled asparagus with red caviar, pink grapefruit and hollandaise sauce. Tom had Eggs Benedict which he said was really nice. After brekky we drove around the resort, exploring. We went down to Pebble Beach and a really interesting man came over and chatted to us.
