Colleen & Tom's Explorations
So this will probably be my final post for this trip. This morning we had a hearty breakfast (to finish up our muesli and eggs), tidied up the cottage and then Tom brought the little car up into the narrow alleys of the village to pack our suitcases into it. Then off to Toulouse again.... We fly to Paris this afternoon and then tomorrow we leave for Sydney via Kuala Lumpur. I might update this entry tonight, but unless incredibly newsworthy happens.... Well not terribly newsworthy - flight to Charles de Gaulle was just fine. There is a people mover, with no driver, just like the metro system, which travels between the three terminals, the car parks and airport hotels, and it dropped us right at the Novotel. Very handy. We arrived just before dinner, time for a shower and freshen up and then dinner down in the restaurant. Steak and mashed potato with zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant and onion. And the side orders were included in the price. And Bearnaise sauce! Washed down with a no-no (with a big red steak)- a glass of French champagne! Awesome. Followed by three scoops of lemon sorbet ( with chunks of lemon rind in it). Lovely!! Tomorrow we have a leisurely brekkie here and then the 12 noon flight out. No worries.
