hi guys, were arrived in Salvador safe and sound and its gorgeous. The hostel is really nice and we´ve met some really nice people here. Its only a block from the beach so yesterday we spent the whole day there with fellow hardcore sunworshippers the party girls from Canada! The sea it quite rough, still not as bad as Rio though but i had my hair blow-dried on thursday so no swimming for me! We found a nice little salon and had the full beauty treatment for next to nothing! Went out last night as there were lots of street paries on the roads off the beach front and samba danced away, then went to a 24hr bar with some new brazilian friends. Had a good night.

The preparations for carnival are well under way with construction going on all along the beach front for the parades...can`t wait!!!! Anyway suns calling us its so nice to be out of the Rio rain we have to get out in the sun whenever possible.
