Went down to the port early the next morning to choose our rooms on the boat before the other people arrived, then off to the supermarket to stock up on some beer and vodka.
We were told we'd be sharing the boat with 3 others of similar age, but ended up being 9 oldies including a couple of gay couples. Netherless they provided us some entertainment and we taught them a few drinking games. Since us young ones were all kiwis and canadians we made up a new country called Canzealander with our national sport being rock the boat (running back and forth across the deck).
The sea was quite rough the first day so we pushed on till we found a sheltered bay where we stayed for the rest of the day. Lots of water sports on offer, would have loved a single ski but bit dear so went banana boating instead, heaps of fun and spent most of the time falling off! Also, little boats selling pancakes and icecreams stop by, there timing was bad though as we'd just eating an amazing lunch then biscuits and tea for afternoon tea.
We both got a bit sea sick the next day (a combination of rough sea and too much vodka the night before.) We were making our way to the village of Kas where we were parking up for the night and cruised past Butterfly Valley and the Blue Lagoon on the way (ufortunatly we didn't get to stop at either). Took the crew bout 20 attempts to park the boat in the marina (tiny space) and in the end a little run around boat came to help out. Kas was a nice wee village with some good shops.
Ended up in a beautiful bay on the third day and spent the afternoon swimming and chilling out playing cards. Then went to the Smugglers In to party the night away. Cool little pub literally in the middle of nowhere, with a boat service that comes and picks you up and takes you back to your boat. Met another kiwi guy (JT) who has it turns out is friends with heaps of our mates from Uni.
Then it was onto a port near Olympos. Awesome cruise, lots of laughs and very cool crew (Flippy, Skippy, and Top Cat).
