Hello all, we are now onto country number three! We have seen the Iguasu Falls (Largest in the world by volume) from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides, the latter being my favourite as there were less spiders and more trail options that led you closer to the waterfall action. We even paid a bit extra for a boat ride that took us right into the falls, we were so close to the booming water that our clothes were drenched through and our disposible camera was leaking water which probably means all the photos we have taken with it aren`t too healthy at the moment! But the falls are beautiful with rainbows skipping between each waterfall and such diverse wildlife and flora and fauna that only survive in the conditions that the waterfalls provide. (look at our photos to see some examples!). We also visited the Itaipu Dam, which was named last year as one of the 7 modern wonders of the world, Mark was more impressed than I was, he was trying to convince me saying 'What`s not to love Rae? Its the biggest hydroelectric plant in the world! Power! Water! Electrics! Construction! Heavy engineering! MEN AT WORK!' Although I must admit the facts are pretty impressive .. It powers 75% of Paraguays electricity and 25% of Brazils. We popped into Paraguay hoping to find something authentic for lunch but instead were confronted with horrendous traffic, dirty streets, high buildings and people trying to sell us complete and utter rubbish. We opted for the trusty beans and rice back in Brazil after getting enough money from the only Paraguayan bank to catch the bus home!! We had juicy, cheap, delicious steaks last night at an Argentinian Parilla style restaurant, we are headed out now to do exactly the same! We go to Buenos Aires tomorrow afternoon, love and kisses! Us xoxoxo
