Leaving Queenstown behined us we visited Dunedin where it rained a lot but we managed to blag some free cinema tickets from a kind lady who had 2 spare which was good. We walked up Baldwin street (the world's steepest street) before heading to Moeraki boulders on the way to Lake Tekaopo which is beautiful. When we got to Christchurch we met Karen and family which was nice and I am so jealous of the view from their house. Jessica and Cameron have grown up really fast so it was good to catch up with them. We went to Kaikora and guess what.....I SWAM WITH DOLPHINS!!!!!! It was one of the best experiences of my life. There were over 100 dolphins in the pod and at times there were about 6 around me at one time- so cool. On the way to Wellington we saw a seal colony where the pups were playing in the waterfall. In the evening after catching the ferry to the north island we visited Tinas family and were treated like VIPs in their Indian restaurant. The next day we went to Te Pap the museum and just had a look around really. We saw a kiwi at Mount Bruce wildlife centre (but you cant really see it in the photo) and had some beers in a brewery before arriving in Napier. In Mt Maunganui we went in hot salt water pools to relax before our last day In New Zealand in Auckland before our flight to Sydney.
