The tower museum has around 356 steps that you have to walk up to get to the top and I won't lie I was pretty tired and my feet were sore! But it was definitely worth while! What and amazing view of the city, Gamla Stan and river with all of it's mini (actually rather large) boats!
As I walked up the many Stairs there are different displays - the first being that of all of the sculptures that can be found around the Stadshuset and the tower it also houses a huge (maybe 4-5m) statue of a naked man killing what seems to be a crocodile! Te next level has 4 of the saints which Sweden honours one of which is St. Clara - she has a beautiful church!
To get to the next level I had to walk around and round and round and round (and a couple more arounds) while being buffeted by the wind to get to the top platform where there were a set of old wooden stairs to take you up and outside under the city hall bells!
Wow it really was amazing!
And then I had to drag my rather sore feet back down all the stairs in order to go home - only after some shopping though!
