Today Hayls and I went to the sagrada familia we walked there an it was a stunning walk we went passed a market and down a lovely street that had statues and fountains! And it was really lovely!! There was a really cute statue of a little red riding hood girl and a huge dog!!! ;)
Wow it was amazing to turn the corner at the end if the street and see this incredible building! With crazy high spires with suns on top and all of the carvings and little indents it was amazing! Wow!! However when we arrived we saw a crowd like crazy! And we tried to walk to the end and it just kept going and going and going and going so we decided that rosy was not the right day to be going as it would take all day just to get in!
So we walked around the area and looked in some cute stores that had cast incense and weird clothes! It was super fun though. Then we hopped on the rocking metro and came home!
Soon after lunch was required and Milos Kat Hayls and I went off to the bottom of las ramblas where the port is to go have lunch at a sushi place that sells delicious sushi for all you an eat for a really good price so we wondered down to the porter have a look at the huge boats and the statue of christopher columbus who is pointing toward america... He had a pigeon sitting on his hand ;)
We walked along the port ad came across a really big statue if a gamba (prawn in Spanish) it's very funny and has had a face painted on him then we saw a artwork of a really famous popartist - Roy Lichtenstein it was very cool...
As Hayls and Milo waited in the queue Kat and I continued exploring down the alley ways and we came across the old roman wall that surrounded barcelona in the 400th century AD that is 1690 years ago! Very long time!!!
Then it was rime to munch some scrummy lunch!!! And eg we did we had piles of sushi plates on the table along with creme caramel, potatoes, pineapple, these strange furry purple berrys, more sushi... Yum yum yum I'm loving the food in BCN after stuffing ourselves for about an hour and a half we went wondering among the various shops...
We came across a handmade guide making shop, a bead shop, an American apparel shop, and the not incredible toy shop ever!!! It had masks and kaleidoscopes and jack in the boxes which made you jump even though you knew it was going to happen, to magic hats and fire throwers wow!!! Very cool!!! They even had racing snails!!!! ;)
Hayls and I went to do some wondering down Verdi street to go and get some food for dinner... We saw so many cute shops and stunning things to buy... Wow! Awesome! We were walking passed some stores and a Eiffel if something delicious hit our noses and automatically we turned and walked into a store beside us to find out that it was a crepe store... They looked amazing and smelled Soooo good we really wanted to munch one but managed to restrain ourselves when we saw the prices!!! It was crazy expensive!!!
Then it was home time for relaxation and some tourist planning... ;) tomorrow is going to be jam packed and AWESOME!!!
