Today we headed off relatively early to get to Hout Bay where we went to the bird and monkey sanctuary. It was strange that all of the birds were just flying over your head and there wasnt any fencing to keep them in. This morning was quite quiet, we just went to the supermarket and stocked up on food. We then drove to Gordon's Bay and just took a few photos of the sights. This afternoon we went to Stellenbosch where we did some wine-tasting and saw the university there. This is only a short update because I have limited time at the moment, but rest assured I will add more when I get the chance.

We got up early this morning to drive to Glencairn where I got ready for my dive, all looked hopeful when the sun was shining when we arrived. I went through the usual process of finding a wet suit that fitted me and getting debriefed about what we'd be doing in the sea. Today we drove the hour journey to Simon's Town which is a coastal town to the east side of the cape. The views on the way were amazing and the sea was just pure blue (which is good as Im diving there tomorrow.) Today was a really rainy day so the choices of what we could do were limited. In the end we decided to go to the mall. (yes it is very 'tradition African') We found a Body Shop which sold the same items as we get at home for half the price which is always good. We also found chocolate fudge for a pound.
