Kunjhani? (spelling might be wrong, but it means "How are you doing?" In Xhosa)
OMG! For the people who know me well, please sit down and take paper bag with you... I ate ostrich meat this sunday! How amazing is that?! For the people who don't know me that well (yet): I am a terrible eater, if it is different I normally don't like it. So this was a huge step. Even more shocking, I really liked it!
The other day, I did the most amazing tour ever. I did a game drive or safari on a quad bike! It was so cool! The only negative thing, my quad broke down... Murphy's law. So I ended up driving for about 20 minutes and spent the rest on the back of somebody elses bike. Still, the drive was amazing, you come so close to the animals. We saw 3 rhinos, imagine them coming after you on the quad - they run faster than the quad.
We also went to a waterfall, were we could swim. The only thing.. You had to jump off the waterfall. But fortunately, it was not that high - probably about 4 to 5 meters. The water was cold, but the weather was beautiful. Just one jump was enough for me though ;)
As we speak - not literally - I am sitting by the fire in a backpackers in Stormsriver after an amazing zipline trip. All geared up, you zip through beautiful nature and you do it fast! Together with a very nice Canadian girl, we are in an almost empty hostel, but it is still a very nice place. Peace and quietness, that is what this place feels like. And there is so much to do here! So we are up for the next adventure, I cannot wait!
What I forgot to tell you in my last post, is that I actually held a snake. I have never been afraid of snakes (never met a living dangerous one in my life), but I just never did it before . Now I did and it was cool! This was a juvenile python and not that big or heavy, but still cool I think.
