Swaggi cup everyone,
We are away from the busy city life now and currently residing on the exotic island of Koh Samui. The first day was a bit of a write off for me. I strolled into Bombers place as he was making us a fry up. Our flight to Koh Samui was at 11.30pm, so our driver, Pat, took us to the airport about half nine. The flight was only an hour, and the transfer was about 20 mins, so we were quickly at our place of destination. The airport arrival terminal was pretty much an oversized shed. Crazy scenes.
The luxuries of Bangkok are now behind us. We are staying in a beach hut, about 20metres from the sea. It has two single beds, two fans, a self flushing toilet (you pour a bucket of water down it) and a hose pipe for a shower. We have a few resident cockroaches (I may eat one of them, quite tasty in Bangkok), but for about 2 pound a night, we certainly cant complain. the sea is a welcome relief from the sizzling heat. Fantastic
During our stay in Koh Samui we have had a few really good nights out. We watched loads of footy games (Blues won yeaaaaah), played pool with the locals and got pissed as farts (generally what we do most nights). Tommorow we are heading to Koh Panghan (the place of the full moon party) and supposedly a much better island than Koh Samui.
Bye bye
