Friday : sunny It's very dark at 4:30am, but that's what you got to do, when you want to go see a sunrise in the Himalayas. We were on the bike at 4:45, there were so many locals up walking about this morning. Which was good for us because we had to stop a couple times and ask for directions because it was difficult to use our map with the lack of english street signs. Thursday : sunny Gosh we were lazy and little piggies today. When we left the hotel it was 11am, so we had steaks and beers for breakfast. Yes big fat juicy steaks, we got told by a fella on the Everest trek (Tim) that Pokhara is the place for steaks. Wednesday : sunny We scoffed down breaky and checked out quick smart then made our way to the bus stop. Wow now that's a lot of busses to sort through. We got to the last three busses and lucky us they were ours. Ha there was no room for our bags under the bus, so on the roof with ye. Thankfully we have insurance. Off we go and our seats you could say are in the cockpit of the bus. All the busses are the same, they have this section of wall dividing the cabin...

Tuesday : Unlike the early rise yesterday we slept in today, we left the hotel with no time for breakfast before we met with our guide back at the travel agent. Nice fella Surya is, full of smiles and laughs. I'll get more details later, main thing is he speaks English really well. We also organized our trekking permits and Annapurna conservation passes, hopefully Surya brings them out to Pokhara in a couple days time and we don't get stung. After the meeting ...

Monday : sunny Today we had a good sleep and we were off to an early start. We tried a different place today for breakfast, and the coffee was just as good as yesterday's. On the way to pick up our clothes from the laundry we had a ice-cream at Baskin & Robbins.
