Well we have now arrived - and it's not as warm as expected (and it rained today)!! I managed to sleep til noon to try and get over the jet lag, and stayed awake til 9pm, so not doing too badly. We took a walk to the local shops in South Lakes today and was suprised at how american it all felt! Birdwatching here is very good, although they do all make crazy noises!

The weather is predicted to pick up by Thursday and should start getting really warm within the next 2 weeks or so! I think we will start sightseeing properly from tomorrow onwards - so hopefully these posts will be slightly more interesting!
