G'day all,(sorry had to do it)

been in Perth now since Tuesday, and it's a great place. It's like most cities but its really really clean and very very hot. It strange thought as it's really like England in alot of way, but it also alot like America with all the big buildings. I think that it beat both with the weather thought as for the last few days here it's been 40 degrees. Found a good hostal straight away (one world backpackers) and i've been here since. Hostaling is a new experiance for me, but one that i've got into pretty quickly. I've met some cool people and they have all made me feel welcome and helped me round Perth. I've also been out to a place just outside Perth called Freemantle, it's kind of a small town near the sea on the outskirt's of Perth,very laid back and hippiefide. Me and two of the blocks i've met here went over there for the day. We took in south beach and the town centre, i found some street proformers to talk to. They were helpful and i'll be going over there again on wed to try my hand at street proformance. You don't have to have a buskin licence in Freemantle ( as you do in Perth ) so it seam's like a real good place for me to start in case i wash out. So i'll let you know more about Freemantle ( and if i wash out ) cause i'm gonna stay over there for a week or so when i do go. 26th of Jan is austraillia day and i had to get involved with the celebration, well the aussie's wont let you not get involved. We all went up to King's park a huge park that looks over Perth's swan river to get a good view of the fireworks that where going off that night. Basically austraillia day is like the new years day celibrations but Perth has it instead ( or so one of the aussie guys told me ). I had aussie flags put on the side of my head as " everybody's an aussie today" and we all went and had heaps of fun. I've only really been relaxing since i got here so i have'nt much else to say OZ is beautiful and everything i thought it would be + a little more. So i've just been taking it all in and being really happy to be here after wanting to come for so long. I've got about another 2 weeks here while i wait for Alan to show up, so i'm gonna go over to freemantle for a week then come back to Perth and one world.
