The next stop along the East Coast was the beautiful AirlieBeach where we went off sailing for 3 days on the Whitsundays. The Whitsundays are a bunch of over 70 stunning Islands surrounded by the coral reef.On the morning of the 3 day trip we went shopping for a stack of wine (4 ltrs, they love their boxed wine here). Then headed to the jetty to find our boat - "Reality". The people we were on the boat with were very cool and were on a mission to party, party, party? And we certainly did that - We drank like fishes from the minute we got on the boat until the minute we got off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our first stop was HaymanIsland were we did lots of snorkelling in the great barrier reef (having to wear super, sexy, stunning stinger suits - NOT!!!! as its stinger season) then anchored and stayed the night, was absolute heaven - sitting in the Jacuzzi sipping wine under the stars and moonlight. Sorry if I am making you sick with envy, he he???The next day we sunbathed as we sailed down to White Heaven beach. This is somewhere everyone raves about, as it's the second most beautiful beach in the world - totally amazing!!!! The sand is pure white and the sea is perfectly clear.Next we headed back up to Blue Pearl bay where we anchored again and looked at all the pics on a big slide show. Saw an amazing sunset then we just chilled. On the last day we snorkelled again at 7.30am! that's one way to start the day! We saw massive fish (and I mean MASSIVE), clams, parrot fish, turtles and a hell of a lot of yellow tail. It is very beautiful down there. I have never seen to many colours in my life. We also found ourselves on a tiny sand island in the middle of the sea. Looked like we were walking on water. Then sadly we sailed back! Was a great trip. That night we all met for drinks and we had snakebite! Classy! Next stop MagneticIsland.
