I am a mere three days away from Montreal. My last visit there was wonderful, due to wonderful company, but the weather was a bit nasty. That was in March of '07. Now it is beautiful May '08 and I don't think I'll be walking through any snowstorms this time. I look forward to seeing what the city really looks like without a shroud of dirty snow. Hopefully my tour guides, Martine, Priscilla, and Philippe, will show me some of what this place has to offer. On my last visit, I was amazed at how big everything was. There is nothing in Maine even remotely close to the size of Montreal. This time I want to soak it all in; see what it is really like to live in a city so immense. Hopefully I will pick up a thing or two that will be helpful in future journeys. Until then, I am simply waiting anxiously here in little old Alfred, which is not an entirely bad place to be.
