We made it to Brussels! ... the capitol of Belgium (and some would say the capitol of Europe as well) We explored the city a bit and posted some pictures in the album called "Brussels". We saw the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, the eternal flame for the unknown Belgian soldier of WWI, and the Grand Place of Brussels. We're going to the post office tomorrow morning to ship 2 or 3 kilos of hand-made Belgian chocolate back home.

Eric Mmm...chocolates... I'm sorry I didn't read your previous post in time to try to win some chocolates. That'll learn me to read your posts daily! Did you take the train from London to Brussels? Will you be in France while the Tour de France is going on? If so, any plans to see a part of the race live? And if you need help eating those kilos of chocolates when you get home, C and I will selflessly volunteer our services.
