Last full day in BA today, Cathryn left for Colombia this morning - SUPER early. The last two days were spent chilling out doing very little, seeing the sites which I missed the first time round.

I'm pretty confident that I've seen everything I want to see - except perhaps going to a Milonga - Tango hall.... I've seen tango just not at one of the Milongas.

We went out for drinks on Thursday with Cathryn's friends in a pretty buzzy bar in Palmero. Last night we went out to Juana M, neither Cathryn or I could finish the steaks we had. It was SO tasty but it was beyond my belly!!

Today I got my 'bike-fix' I went on a bike tour from BA to Tigre. We got a train to just outside of the city and cycled up to Tigre. It was just myself and my guide, Antonio. We cycled through San Idriso - POSH suburb of BA. The houses were protected with razor wire, manned private security and in one case an electrical fence!!! Once we arrived in Tigre we did a bit of kayaking between the islands - amazing! Beautiful quiet streams.... totally worth every moment!! The river needs rain though, the waterlevel was unbelieveably low in some places. I tried the typical Argentinian drink, Mate (pronounced Matte), not amazing... like bitter green tea.

A short and sweet summary of my day! I'm now pretty pooped and I've caught the sun big time on my back, it's SO red........ OUCH!!!!

As a reward for those of you who read this far, I also had the most amusing bike fall EVER today........ I was trying to take a photo but we turned a corner and then out of no where a hill started and I start flying down the hill and while trying to put my camera away somehow the bike goes from underneath me and clatters to the ground and I'm left running down the hill!! My guide is a little worried until he sees me giggling away - I'm not sure how I didnt ffaceplant but it was SO funny!!!!! (you had to be there really... but still)!
