Di Hey there Phillipa, haven't heard from you in ages. Sounds like you are having a great time and are in for a wonderful adventure. Be careful in Peru I've heard it's not a good idea to try and do Machu Picu on your own, guided tours are the best. Even the locals go in tour groups because the crime is so bad. Anyways, don't want to put a dampener on the trip. I'm so jealous stuck here at work. Drink lots of mate and cerveza in Argentina for me and enjoy the empanadas and asados.
