BOO!!

Not sure of my last documented exploits but after meeting the girls (Megan and Natalie) on my tour, and our guide, Huaskar, we left La Paz for Sucre! A considerably nicer place than La Paz, it´s known as the White City as most of the buildings are whitewashed.

Our first adventure was to the Dinosaur Footprints with a hilarious guide, "Juan Carlos (?), John Charles or JC, but not Jesus Christ" was his introduction. Very amusing though! The prints were a bit of a let down - seen only from about 300m across a cement quarry....but I was surprised at quite how many of them there were, about 5000 or so!!

Yesterday the three of us and our guide went on a Mountain Bike Tour - AMAZING!! FOOKING ACE!!! Even the uphills... strange eh? I noticed the thin air far more (and while getting out the city the exhuast fumes) as I was breathing heavily but my legs were fine!! Did some cute little single track runs down to a country house. I did fall off once (the one time our guide, Charlie, had my camera so i have photographic evidence of it - see photos!). Once we´d arrived at this little country house we did a 40min hike up to "7 Waterfalls". Incredibly refreshing!!!!! I cant tell you quite how much I enjoyed it! So much so that the next day I decided to go on another bike trip - this time longer and more difficult!! Today´s trip was better (even without the waterfalls and BBQ at the end!) more downhill, more mud, more rocky uphills.....more of everything!!!

Tomorrow we´re off to Potosi and the Silver Mine, then a 3 days 4X4 drive to Uyuini and the Salt Flats!!! I really hope my camera can capture some incredible photos.

Currently have a little bit of traveller´s tummy, but that didnt stop me going out biking today! I´m hoping that it´s just the jumping around on a bike and stuff has just affected my insides!!
