Nick i'm soo jealous. Stay out there for as long as possible cos Britain is rubbish! Way to expensive and way too rainy and cold!
Since i got home (saturday) i've been on a two day first aid course, spent hours and hundreds of pounds sorting out bloody car insurance, sorted out employment and basically have the next 3weeks filled with wedding organisation and exam practice! No rest for the wicked!!! I need another holiday!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed skiing - it's wicked innnit?! and how good and cheap is the wine in Mendoza?! yum! - i miss being able to buy a bottle of champagne for 5 quid! boohoo. Can't believe we are home and that you only have a few weeks left - life's going far too quickly for my liking!
Might actually have a rest for abit this wkend tho - going to Anglesey with the family - apparently Julie's over from Canada, so should be fun! It'll be nice to see everyone again - including your brother - not actually seen him since we left the airport on Saturday - weird, particularly after being with him day and night for 6 months!
Ahh well, must be off - got a job interview to attend! eek! Enjoy the rest of your trip - you will love Rio - go up the sugar loaf to watch the sunset with a nice caipihrina - yum yum. oooo...... im sooo envious.
loadsa love

Hello Travellers
Hope you are both still enjoying your amazing journey.
I enjoyed a suprisingly sunny week with Grandma and the twins in Angelsey. Dont think you would have wanted to swap the Inca Trail for Sun, Sea, Buckett and Spade though Nick??

Hi everyone,
We've just got back into Cusco after 3 days of rafting! We have a day off tomorrow and then we start the Inca Trail. From there we plan to head south west(ish) to a place called Tacna and then into Chilie. We're both really knackered at the moment... Its been non stop for 2 months so far!!! I'm looking forward to a few days in one place! Maybe Santiago!!!
Thanks for the message Dad!! I got an email from Andrew today. He's given me some good advice as to where we should ski and other places to visit in Argentina!! It sounds like you're working hard back there! I can't wait to see the final result!!!!!!! We've burned all our photos onto CD. I tried uploading the first set the other day but realised these computers don't have CD drives!!!!!!!!!! I'll get them up there eventually!!!! Haha!
We're off into town in a few minutes to watch the rafting footage. I'll get a new blog done when I get chance!!
Speak to you all soon,
love Nick

Hola,
It was great to talk to you the other day.
There isn't much to tell you about here apart from the rotten wet weather. Yesterday I watching the news and it said that one year ago, to the day, the temperature was 36.5 Degrees C and yesterday it was 16 degrees.
I sure could do with a break from working, I'm attacking the lounge, hall, stairs and landing now. Have you room in your hostel?
After the Inca trail, will you be going skiing? Andrew reckoned the skiining in Argentina is pretty special.
Take care, Looking forward to some more pics.

Im getting through a lot of big watermelons, they're so nice here! Also, Martin from Coronation Street is in our resort, how very exciting..!! Sorry I didn't catch you online anyway, maybe next time!

Hiya Dad & Steg!!!
Thanks for the messages!! We're in a place called Trinidad in the Amazon Basin at the moment. Its really hot and sticky!! We're off into the jungle for a week or so in the next couple of days and then we head up to Cusco for the Inca Trail on the 26th, but before that we're looking at doing a 3 day rafting trip.
Thats really cool that you met Lt Higginson at Aquinas. I didn't realise he made trips to colleges and schools!! It would have been wierd to have seen him myself!! Haha!
I'm very impressed you made it almost to Mainedhead Ste!! Rumour has it you were carrying a bigger bag than I am?!?!?! The mines at Potosi were amazing by the way... they scared me to death!!!!!!! We had a cool guide who set some dynamite off for us. We've got pictures and a video, but the computers here are sooooo slow!!!!!
Glad you had fun at the summer fair, dad!!! Sounds like it went down well despite the rain!!! You should have got the old kayak out and had races!!!!! (Oh good to hear the kitchens done ok by the way... can't wait to see it)!!!! I've not seen any pics of your bum on Facebook yet, but I'm sure they'll come!!
Anyway, hope you're all ok! Can't wait to catch up in Sept,
