Well I'm very pleased to hear you finally made it.  I had a vague idea that you might end up in Equatorial Guinea instead of Equador!

Glad the place is good, and Nick, whenever did you need hot water for bathing? You don't bathe do you?

I've been very busy these last two days trying to get as much done as possible, but as per Murphy's Law, things haven't always gone to plan.  Today I hit my finger with a hammer (and it even throbs when I'm typing) and tomorrow I'm going to Aberystwyth to bring the big lump home.  Perhaps I do need a break.

Howdo me mucker :) So you've finally gone...Peace at last hehe only joking :) I'm gonna miss our monkey wee fights fights but I'l get practicing my aim with my BB gun for when you get back.

Hello!  Saw you off at the airport earlier! - You looked like you had abit of trouble getting through the gates to the departure lounge..and that was only the flight to London!!  Those St Christophers better do a good job of looking after you both...

Good luck anyway, hope you have a safe flight out tomorrow, don't eat any guinea pigs (or if you do don't tell me-me and scampi will not be impressed). 

I'm just settling down to watch Bill Oddies Springwatch with my herbal tea...yes I've got an exciting summer ahead..!

Be prepared to poo yourself at first, but enjoy the buzz it gives you!

Also, always say you have a resevation at a hotel if a taxi driver asks you - they will try and take you to one which they get commission from, they aint always the best.

Other than that, make sure you have ear plugs, immodium, a good book and toilet paper! Also, don´t be fooled by the sun in Quito - it may be overcast, but you WILL burn - believe us!

Write to you when you are on the same continent i guess! Enjoy the flight - don´t eat Mcdonalds for tea the night before, or you will be best friends with the loo during your flight! Also, if you get to watch Pirates of the Caribean 3, don´t tell us the plot!

Hola Nick and PhilI bet your really excited only a few hours till you leave. How's the packing going, don't forget your toothbrush!!!! We'll have to try and meet up for some drinks if we're close at anytime, not sure when that will be maybe when we're in Northern Argentina and your in a similar area. Who no's but it would be good to see you. Anyway who's in charge of the fish now?? Is it Stephen or Chris (or Mum)!?!?!?  and is there any left??Have lots of fun and where lots of sun cream in Quito its deceptively sunny even when you think its over cast!!!!
