The weather was supposed to be a bit stormy again this afternoon so we decided to spend the morning by the pool. The boys had a long lay in. Lewis probably needed it after being rudely awakened by the noisy neighbours shouting and swearing at 4am. Luckily Jake slept through it.
So it was a good morning by the pool, hot and sunny. As the weather was supposed to be bad this afternoon we decided to head to Mall at Millenia not knowing what to expect.
Wow! We were all impressed. Top exclusive stores like Prada, Armani, Apple, Rolex to name but a few. The main reason for going though was to sample the delights of The Cheese Cake Factory which we'd heard so much about. Lewis was feeling a little low so we stopped off in the Grand Court food hall for cookies and slush. We decided to go for something to eat and we ventured to PK Changs, a Chinese restaurant which again had been recommended. I must say, this is probably the best food we'd eaten while we'd been here. There's only so many portion of fries you can eat so rice and noodles were a welcome break and the food was excellent. We skipped desert and headed back to the cheese cake factory. Lewis and Jake both wanted ice cream so we made a deal that we'd come back for cheese cake on Friday and headed back to grand court for some of the nicest ice cream I've tasted in a long time.
Well, the rain didn't come but Millenia was worth the 30 minute drive. Running low on fuel we thought we'd stop off at downtown Disney for a stroll and fuel up. Stressful,stressful,stressful!!!!
After about 20 minutes of checking and unsuccessfully muscling our way through every car park at Downtown Disney, we gave up and headed to the petrol station. Can't believe how stressful fuelling a car up in USA is. 1st we couldn't work out which fuel to put in as the label on the car didn't match any on the pump. Next, we tried to pay using my card at the pump. D'oh, that didn't work either as it told me to see cashier. So I sent my beautiful assistant Julie inside to sort it. $50 lighter we were on our way, confused and stressed. I think fuelling a jumbo jet would be easier.
Back home and planning Hollywood studios tomorrow.
