So jealous of China, although Colchester does have a miniature version of the terracotta warriors on display at the moment. I could go see them, get myself a take-out and it would be like I was there with you!
Pete - will email u properly. Love u both lots xx

Miss Edgar and Master Canning.
The two of you are really rather talented writers. Don't get bored and stop posting blogs, they're keeping us all entertained. Have laughed like a maniac reading the drunken driver story. I can just imagine Pete's indignation levels scaling new heights - how enjoyable.
Just back from a short break in Paris to what can only be described as a catastophic economic mess. David has strapped himslef to UBS and is holding on for grim death. I am making supportive noises and toiling away at Sky on an astoundingly boring project that may force me to run away and join you.
Miss your matching cheeky smiles, and having a twin brother to pose next to in photos. There's no-one else nearly as goodlooking enough to take your place Pete. Ah well.

Hi guys... I'm sitting here watching the rain fall outside whilst munching on a sandwich and flicking through Heat magazine (jealous Polly?).But I guess your lives are far more exciting at the moment!Great latest blog entry - Ger experiences and Mr Angry!Pete, I do hope you wore your lovely red necktie to make you more menacing?I actually quite fancy a stint in a Ger but not sure I could handle the daily commute to Mayfair!I've emailed you on hotmail Polly for when you next stumble upon an internet café.Love the photos too…Keep up the good work.Missing you Pol - your desk is soon to be occupied…...Alison xx

Hello!
Love the blog. Sounds totally amazing. Was laughing lots at the thought of Pete telling someone off - can imagine him doing his Mr Angry impression. mmm sympathy for a long train journey while you are travelling - I think not! Sympathy for me when I'm stuck at my desk and you guys are off having fun - I think so!
Love you lots and keep the blogs coming. xxx
Oh BTW Pete, Iain's broke the car - flat battery I think. Doh!

Darling Edgar-Cannings....
I've at last worked out to access your blog - woo hoo...and have just read all your messages in one go - phew! Sounds INCREDIBLE...you lucky lucky people...and you've done so much but it feels you've hardly left! KEep the messages coming - I like to work out who's writing which bits.
Not much to report here I'm afraid...i've had my wisdom teeth out...ouch - but at least they've gone and they've healed amazingly. Dom has started his course so has turned into a double nerd studying and learning golf. Not sure if you're still getting Hayley's updates about the babies...but all is good and one is coming home in a couple of weeks! Vicker and Wolfe are properly going out we went to 2 back-to-back supper parties with them last week and they were very cute...didn't feel too weird actually...oh Edgar - I wish you were here to chat through all the gossip! Its the week my newstarts start, so am super hectic as they are all so demanding...Can't bear I have to go through this whole graduate process again!!!
Listen, please stay safe and enjoy. Think about you lots and miss you both!
Love Trembles XXXXX
PS - Ha Ha mug is getting lots of comments. You b*****s. X
Chris
Hello the two Ps
Hows it going? (standard start to almost any interaction)
Me and Dave are just about to set off in a few hours....going to be on the go for about 48hrs, mainly hanging about in airports in a weird daze....
Have you seen any excetionally knackered trains kicking about over there? I went on one where the toilet was literally just a hole and the experience of dumping on the track was included in the ticket price! Not very dignified, but definately an art form.
Anyway, gotta pack an amazing amount of stuff into such a small backpack that even Pete would be impressed with!!! I am heavy, but Im travelling light!
Take care, have fun
Chris

Stunned to read you thought St Petersberg was a communist backwater. Did you read History and Geography or am I imagining it? So glad you liked the train journey - how's War and Peace coming on Polly?! I'm hugely jealous of your having an emotional conversation with a total stranger on a train - so Dostoevsky! xx Mummy

Hey you crazy dudes. Great call with the blog. So much better than rambling emails (not that yours would have been, of course) and am so lucky that moneycorp haven't blocked it for once! Crazy to think we're closer to the 30's end of an 18-30's trip - 1st time i've realised that and i'm not happy about it! Keep the blog updated - actually feels like we're kind of doing the journey with you which is making my office days rather more exciting. Good luck with the translations! all my love xxx
