Polly - I had to message you as had the weirdest dream ever last night...... wait for it I know you are hugely excited............ so I dreamt that Alison and I came out to live with you and Pete in a mud hut in Nepal. When we arrived and found you and Pete at your new mud home we walked in and there were chickens everywhere. Very very wierd but had to tell you! How is Nepal?? Do you love it? where are you? where have you been? they do the best cakes in Nepal especailly in Pokara and Kathmandu! Will write properly later but had to tell you the dream before I forgot! Lots of love and take care! LOL xoxoxo

Oops! Sorry! Pressed the wrong button and sent an unfinished message>> I'm an idiot! So, what did the birthday celebrations include - POl, I hope you managed some breakdancing along the way. There is talk around the office that you guys have disappeared - your blog has not been updated for days and days with Piers still on the front page! Sort it out!! Everything here is just dandy. Pol, I'll send you a longer email to hotmail when I find 5 minutes. Stay safe and blog up soon chaps or else - we all miss you...... xxxx

Hope you had a fab birthday, wherever you were. Thought about you when on Cat bells on Saturday with K & I. Was looking at the trek and it sounds amazing, hope the altitude sickness did not kick in. Strange not to ring you on your birthday, but hey, think of the money I am saving as I can't get you a present. Love to you both Jill x
Rach
Oh yes - happy birthday! Wrote you a message because it was your birthday and didnt write happy birthday on it......! x
Tim
You should have seen our faces, especially when we found out the father was Gay James.....
Hope you had a lovely birthday Pete. Whilst you missed an excellent weekend in Cork i'm sure as good as the surroundings were, they were nothing like China & Hong Kong.... Although I bet our Guinness was better.
Looking forward to seeing you (partially at least!) follow in the footsteps of Hillary (Sir Edmund - not Dr Jones) and Tenzing. Get your pic's uploaded asap as I'm sitting on the sofa for another 2 weeks recovering from a broken collar bone - so am a regular fan of Pete&Polly news!
Take care and look forward to catching up at New Year!

It was a shame that you guys weren't there this weekend, if for no other reason than to see your faces when I told everyone I'm having a baby!!!

Happy birthday Peter. Sadly we can't spend it with you but at least you don't have to fake gratitude at another present.
As you'll have read we were all in Cork this weekend celebrating the 10 year testimonial and good fun was had by all. Shame you guys weren't there but I can't imagine you were sitting around with nothing to do! I'm sure the photo's will be on facebook soon for you to see.
See you soon.
Steve.

Hello Peter and Polly.
Happy Birthday Peter. It sounds like you are having the time of your lives. Cork wasn't the same without you! Where is next on your travels?

Will message again soon now I finally have the correct e-mail for the blog!

We missed you at Imo and Buffs's bday bash. I had a "wish Polly was here" moment as I threw my most outrageous moves - a full body work out.
Buffy was SO drunk (I hope she reads this), proper swaying and backing in to randoms, headbutting Will Squier mid conversation and getting annoyed that not enough people has said happy birthday. Hilarious.
Holly and Max were both there in fine form but did seem to avoid the cameras, so good spot.
Singapore airport is massive isn't it? I've spent many a fine hour there waiting for a flight to Melbourne, I hope you used the posh spa for 10p.
There is light at the end of the tunnel for Walsh - the axe swung at UBS on Monday and didn't hit him, which was nice. All a bit stressful really but at least now there's a choice about staying or not.
In other news, I've been nominated by Sky News to be entered in the Royal Television Society young journalist of the year category. So exciting. Will have to buy impossibly galmorous new dress.
Anyway, must dash to another boring meeting about work project, bring on Westminster.
