Polly - I am loving the dancing. It certainly lived up to my expectations of mongolian break dancing is? Or maybe that was just the warm up? Thank you so much for your postcard - Just to reiterate what Alison said it doesn't make me jealous at all!!! Sadly your desk is being taken over and is no longer a shrine for you - James has it taken over - that didn't take him long!!! Hardly gave you time to leave the building!!! Meltons has been fairly quiet and not much gossip to report on that font but the usually hanging out in the door way of number 17 is still a rictual as is the tanning session after the gym work out. Since it has been turning colder here the need to become more orange has beceom greater! Huge powercut in the street this week for the whole day so this gave them a chance to hang out even more and much to their dismay I am sure the pub had no power either! What were they to do. I don't know what has happened to my previous nessage - bloody technology!. Glad to see you are having fun but your reports lack the scatological content of messrs Palin and McGregor/Boorman. Also photos of Pete with odd bits of food being waved around in the air is not proof of a balanced diet. We need to see you both eating things and photos of the after effects!. Why you didn't see the Dance when it was at the RA's Russia Exhibition in London I don't know. Loads more photos required (but can you orientate them correctly at your end. Having to put my screen on its side is a real pain!). Pol, I have forwarded all back copies of Planning Magazine to the Katmandu Guest House, so you will have loads of toilet paper on your trek to Base Camp (don't wimp out and go sightseeing in Pokora). Need more detail of disasters, refused visas etc. - all seems too easy so far.

Oh my goodness your blog has brought back so many memories of that dreadful neverending spitting - I really feel for you!! I think we resorted to doing really exaggerated impressions of people - but not sure it made us feel any better! xxx
