Early start this morning, as we left Adelaide for Port Augusta. The trip's about 340km, but we were told it can take as much as 5 to 6 hours by the time you get out of Adelaide with all the road works going on. Luckily, we had a bit of assistance with some insider, local knowledge, and we got out of Adelaide in good time. The scenery changed dramatically, as we left the outskirts of the city, and started chewing up the highway kilometers through the country town...

Today was another quiet day for us. The sun came out for most of the day, but the clouds have returned now, and we've got our scattered showers back. We're hoping to be rid of all the rain as we head north from here... We had our tour around the park with Alan (owner) this morning, and he is one of life's gentlemen. In all, we were with him for about 2 hours, picking his brain about all sorts of things caravan park related, and not once did he hesitate to answer...

It's the first time we've ever spent $100 for the four of us to see a movie, but regardless of the amount, it's the best $100 we've spent so far. This movie is epic!! "Starry, starry night"... Had the best, most deepest sleep last night... Was very cool again, but R2-DYSON kept up his end of the bargain by keeping the place warm... Well, it's official!! After yesterday afternoon and last night, the new heater is the most valuable thing we own. It's so important, that we've named it R2-DYSON (our protocol heating droid), and inducted him into the family. I would sooner get rid of one of the real children than R2-DYSON, and cold has a new definition for us...
