Good evening, all you avid blogees... There won't be alot to say tonight, we haven't really been up to too much. We had an excellent day, again, we went and saw The Avengers in 3D. It's the first time we've ever spent $100 for the four of us to see a movie, but regardless of the amount, it's the best $100 we've spent so far. This movie is epic!! We absolutely loved it, ALL of us, even Jo, and she hates the Marvel Superhero universe!! If you haven't been yet, don't wait for DVD, this is one movie (like Lord of the Rings) that absolutely, positively MUST be experienced on the big screen. Robert Downey Jnr, as Iron Man, is the greatest movie adaptation of a comic book superhero ever... Period! There is none better!! Classic... Put it on your must see list!!!
After the movie we had luch at the shopping center, and came back to the park for a guided tour with the owner... However, he was a bit busy by then, so we delayed that until tomorrow morning. So, we located a caravan yard to replace those missing k*** I was telling you about, you know, the ones Jo forgot to tighten up when we left Ballarat, and they're all fixed now, and she's promised NOT to make that mistake again!! This afternoon, we caught up with a long standing friend we used to work with at Umina, Kerri, and her kids Angas and Karah, for dinner, and before you knew it, it was 8.30 at night, and a school night, and time for us to say goodbye. The evening just disappeared, but it was great to see them all again, and to see they're all ok, and the kids are growing up... Jeremy and Angas got along like they were best mates that see each other all the time... Great kids!!
The only other thing worth mentioning today, is that we've made another slight adjustment to our original itinerary. We've decided to shorten our stay in Adelaide by one day, and leave here on Friday. Port Augusta will be Friday and Saturday nights, and Coober Pedy will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. Erldunda will then be Wednesday night, which will put us at Uluru on Thursday, and we will stay there for two nights instead of the original plan for one night. We've been told that one night just won't be enough, and then we heard this fantastic idea of doing a helicopter flight around the rock, so that's the new plan... (thanks for the idea, Min!!) Even Jo has agreed to go on the helicopter (as long as it has doors?) I've even promised her she can have the ejector seat, just in case... get it?... ejector seat... in a helicopter? Oh come on, it's funny... You know it's funny, you're just being polite!! The weather here so far has been better than Ballarat, and warmer than Halls Gap, but still a bit chilly. No rain at least. The forcast is getting good though, and in Coober Pedy, they're forecasting 30 degrees. Woohoo!!
