Well, we packed more in the caravan today, and things are starting to look more like they're going to fit. Three hours into packing, and guess what? She, her almighty highness, decides to UNPACK THE CARAVAN TO CLEAN IT!! Are you kidding me??? Don't you do that before its packed??? I'm slightly skeptical of the logic behind the decision making process, but not wanting to get an ulcer, I decided to go along with it, and emptied the cupboards onto the footpath, so we could commence cleaning... .
Now, it's clean and repacked, and we're all still sane and talking to each other, and back on track again. Its actually looking like we'll have more room than we thought originally, and although we're not finished packing, I think we'll be ok... Also, as a spur of the moment decision, Jo rang BIG4 Dubbo Parklands (our first stop), and asked if our site was available for Thursday instead of Friday. It is, so we've decided to leave a day earlier, and have three nights at Dubbo instead of two... The trip hasn't even started yet, and our itinerary, carefully planned and structured, has been thrown its first curve ball! That's ok though, I'm sure there'll be many more to cope with during our travels, and at least this one is a change of our making.
PS... Dylan did indeed convince his mum that we wouldn't need the bread oven, and has managed to fit the Nutella into the cupboard. The juicer is smaller than the bread oven, so we're bringing it instead...
