He did not remember Carol from 2004 when we reminded him that we accosted him in the lobby of his hotel in Lourdes as he was checking out and he kindly posed for photgraphs with us.

In that Tour he fractured two verterbrae in Stage 6. He met us on Stage 9 or thereabouts, and he told us today that he was in dreadful pain from that injury. He won 3 Stages and the Maillot Vert.

Again he was generous with his time, relaxed and friendly. He is working with Green Edge.

John Trevorrow was a gracious host, getting us the required passes into the compound at the start line, and offering more passes for the finishing line. Thanks John!
